Reviewer mentioned it was hard to open. It is but not enough to turn down. If you take care it opens easily enough. The huge capacity makes this case a winner. As far as scratching. No way. It has the felt inside which is as nice as I've seen them. The liners match up to any I've seen. The one negative is the outside could be leather. If your looking for the perfect dvd holder I'd look for a higher quality case like leather ...more
